In December 2011, Hecla Mining Company completes the transaction to acquire the remaining 30% interest in the San Juan Silver project at Creede, Colorado. As a result of the transaction, Hecla’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Rio Grande, Silver, Inc., now holds 100% of the San Juan Silver project.
